Super Drive 30 The new Superdrive Series II offers a push pull "classic/modern" mid pot for a more aggressive bass response and a top end boost forpunch and clarity. The combination of a Super series 11 head and a 4x10 and 2x12 stack is the tone of the gods! Quieter Circuitry for the Studio Rats! In our never ending quest to fulfill customer satisfaction, Jeff has filtered out some of the noise inherent with the "open" hi gain circuit of the Budda. You can be assured that the only sound you will hear on tape/drive is the breath of the almighty Budda tone. Thanks for your suggestions and continued support. We look forward to serving you the final word in tone! |

Paul Famula of Vision, www.visionhardcore.com fresh off the Lowlands Festival with Limp Bizkit, Blink 182 and the Foo Fighters dropped us a line to say that his Phatman was kicking some major a#% on their tour! We're building Paul a Super head for his rig to add a little kick to his aggressive playing style. Check em' out. Those Jersey boys can rock! |

Tracii Guns of La Guns picked up a Twinmaster and a Superdrive and is raving up the tone. He's been losing sleep trying to figure out how 30 watts kick starts a 100 watt Marshall! Look for a new La Guns record to be released on Spitfire Records in April. You can read Tracii's comments on his amps and gear on the Budda message board. Visit his website for future La Guns tour info. |

So what's an analog guy going to do when it comes down to layin' tracks these days. 2" tape costs are through the roof with the price of earl and zip drives are snatching up the market. Seems everything ends up in Pro Tools for editing, so it looks like the harddisco revolution is upon us. If you are on a budget like the budda boys, adat or hard disk recorder is the way to go. We started to lay some basic tracks on adat and slapped a few mixes together through tools. Check our web site shortly for a few samples of the bands rough live mixes. Gives you an idea of what the old Buddacoustic sounds like. (Twinmaster acoustic cab with crossover on a Selenium horn and Celestion G12-80) For all you live tapers, the Sony minidisk player is a must for archiving your gigs. I have to say that little digital contraption is an amazing piece of work. Invest in a nice cardioid mic though if you want to get the tone. Anything less will make your guitar mix sound like the Incredible Shrinking Man! Stay tuned for further studio log tips and rantings...
