Artist Raves

Mitch Allan and Mark Beauchemin of SR-71 are stirring up some phat tones with their new record: "Now you See Inside". The new single, "Non-Toxic" has Buddatones all over it and will debut in March. Mitch is sporting a new Superdrive 30 series 11 and Mark is kicking on a Bud-Wah.

We caught up with Mitch and asked him what he thought of his Budda. His reply was; "I was going for a unique tone, and before I heard the Budda I was using a Marshall and a Mesa to get the sound I wanted. Now with the Superdrive, I can get it from one amp and one cabinet...and it has more character than any other amp!" Thanks Mitch and keep on kickin' out the great tunes!

Sean Paden, man behind the tones of Guns and Roses turned Buckethead on to the Bud-Wah to lay tracks for their up and coming new release and tour. Thanks to Sean for spreadin' the Budda word!

Ede Wright, proud owner of a Dual Stage 30 will be laying some tone with Prince next month. That should make for some funky Budda tracks!

Jeff Lanahan, artist relations director of PRS called looking for some new showroom tone to demo their guitars. We slipped em' a Superdrive 30 and one of our phat wahs to clear the ear. That and a McCarty... simply deadlytoneacious!

Marc Ribot, founder of the The Prosthetic Cubans picked up a Bud-Wah and is makin' it talk. Check out his cd, Y Los Cubanos Postizos for some funky new world Cuban tones. Awesome record! 4 Budda thumbs up...

New BuddaBoard!

Don't be shy, the new Budda board is there for you to eye. Our web site is sportin' a new look with our on-line newsletter and bulletin board. We are looking forward to creating a forum where players can share their ideas and questions regarding finding the right products to get the job done.

Share your gig experiences, product rants and raves and tech questions with others in a community devoted to finding the killer tone. We are not limiting the page to Budda product questions and answers, so feel free to share your experiences and ideas on our products and others as well.

In our never ending search to help new artists find a home, we will be accepting music for future on line music distribution. We are looking specifically for singer/songwriters that write in alternate guitar tunings. If you have work that you would like to submit, please contact Scot Sier at buddatone@budda.com. Demos, finished product and works in progress will be accepted. Look forward to hearing from you!
